On Tuesday 31 march and Wednesday 1 April at 10.15 a.m., you have the opportunity to sign up for a 1.5-hour fishing trip to selected fishing spots around Røvær. Røvær Aquaculture Centre's mission is to promote coastal culture. Fishing has a long tradition here in Western Norway, which is why they are offering a free fishing trip on this day.
There are a limited number of places available. (Maximum 6 people per trip). Røvær Aquaculture Centre provides the fishing equipment, and a maximum of 3 people can fish at a time. The fishing trips are carried out with their Polarcircel RIB boat (minimum age 12 years).
Programme for the day:
10.15: Meet at Røvær Sjøhus for registration and changing
10.30: Departure for fishing grounds
12.00: Return to Røvær Sjøhus.
12:00: Participants will have the opportunity to gut and fillet the fish they have caught
(If desired, the fish can be freezed until the participants are ready to return home).

How do I get to Røvær?
There is a boat to Røvær from the inner quay in Haugesund city centre. The trip takes about 25 minutes. See more information about timetables and tickets here.
