THE CHRISTMAS CAROUSEL AT GLASSHUSET!
Julekarusellen is Hilde Selvikvåg’s very own Christmas tour – a warm and atmospheric festive concert visiting charming venues, both large and small, across Norway.
Hilde Selvikvåg is a singer-songwriter from Jæren, known for catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics in the distinctive Jæren dialect. Her songs include “Karusell”, “Anemone” and “Fryd”, all of which have received extensive radio airplay. Last year, she released her first Christmas song, “Jul i tivoli”, which quickly made its way onto NRK P1’s playlists. This Christmas, she follows it up with “Lykkehjul”, an energetic and hopeful festive song about rediscovering the joy of Christmas when things do not quite go according to plan.
At Julekarusellen, Hilde brings together original Christmas songs, beloved festive favourites and tracks from her own catalogue, creating a special pre-Christmas evening where the music and venue combine to set the scene.
On 4 December, Hilde and Julekarusellen arrive at Glasshuset!
Before, during and after the concert, refreshments will be available to purchase. Glasshuset is fully licensed, and the bar will be open from 18:00 to midnight.
Parking: A large, free car park is located just outside Hummeren Hotel.
