Kanazoe Orkestra

Welcome to the green oasis by the Jølstra River for vibrant balafon rhythms with the charismatic Kanazoé Orkestra from Burkina Faso!

Kanazoé is the nickname of frontman Seydou Diabaté. He grew up in a village where the balafon was at the heart of life, and by the age of five he was already performing alongside his father.

In 2010, he moved to France and founded Kanazoé Orkestra, driven by a dream of sharing his musical tradition in dialogue with musicians from other musical horizons.

Now, Kanazoé Orkestra are ready for their very first concert in Norway – setting the stage for a wonderful summer celebration in our park!
