In the TV series Love Is Blind, people fall in love after talking to each other without seeing one another. It is a utopia come true: love can happen without us judging each other by our looks. Being beautiful on the inside is the only thing that matters.
Dating apps have also changed the way we fall in love. We write to each other extensively, to the point where we become hooked. When we finally meet, we may realise that we have fallen in love with a fantasy.
Katherine Angel and journalist Elias Håvarstein will talk about blind attraction, dating, gender roles and modern life. Has it become any easier, or is it more difficult than ever?
Elias Håvarstein is a Stavanger-based journalist at TV 2. He has previously worked for Stavanger Aftenblad and has a background with Nynorsk mediesenter and NRK.
