Klangar frå eit kontinent - Leikong blandakor

Leikong Blandakor invites you to a varied and energetic concert featuring jazz-inspired music spanning from the 1920s to the present day.

The evening offers both well-loved gems and exciting surprises, performed by a choir with a rich tradition and a high standard of excellence. Joining them on stage is a skilled band featuring Gunnar Aurdal, Stein Henrik Vartdal, and John Inge Leira Bjøringsøy.

The concert will be hosted by talented students from the music program in Volda: Marit Hovland and Andreas Vinsrygg Vadstein. They will serve as the evening's emcees; Marit will also contribute dance performances, while Andreas lifts the atmosphere with his saxophone playing.

In addition, Maren Elise Haanes Waagan will join the choir as a soloist and perform her own numbers.

It promises to be an evening filled with rhythm, melody, and expressive performance!

Join us for a swinging evening at Sjøborg!
