Welcome to Knitting and Politics with Aftenbladet

Aftenbladet journalists Arild I. Olsson and Jan Zahl discuss how Donald Trump is influencing the world and invite the audience to join the conversation. Both strong and weak opinions are welcome, along with good and not-so-good questions.

Jan Zahl is a political commentator and podcaster, known among other things from Aftenbla-bla. Arild I. Olsson has written foreign affairs reports for Aftenbladet for many years. Some may also know them as authors — Jan Zahl has published seven books, and Arild I. Olsson has published two, and recently appeared at Veveriet with his latest book, Den lange uken, to a full house.

Knitting and Politics is part of the cultural programme of the Spød me Hjerta knitting festival. The festival aims to offer something for everyone, and this is a perfect event for those of us wondering what on earth is going on in the big wide world. Whether you bring your knitting or not is up to you — we’re just excited to see you.

The event is pay-what-you-want and must be booked via Linticket.no. The minimum price is 50 NOK.

Spød me Hjerta is a knitting festival taking place from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th March, featuring workshops, markets, knitting cafés, and an exciting cultural programme.

The festival is made possible with support from Rogaland County Council and sponsored by Spinneriet, Sigurd Lima, Frisørstuå, Sparebanken 1 Sør-Norge, Norwegian Outlet, and ALTI Ålgård.
