Dance and music mingle with mystery. Join us for an evening filled with magic. Reflectors and lights in the forest will show you the way. If everyone brings a torch or headlamp, together we can create a wonderful chain of lights behind Dalsnuten. Across the open landscape, it forms a fascinating glowing trail through the darkness. The route follows a combination of gravel roads and narrow paths and is just under 1.2 km long. There are no steep climbs, but the terrain is uneven, and it will be completely dark. Pushchairs can be used on parts of the route. Everyone can walk at their own pace, and guides will be stationed along the entire route.
The Scary Forest
The Scary Forest is not for the faint-hearted. Surprises are waiting along the way, but we will not reveal what they are. Nothing is dangerous, but this route may not be suitable if you are afraid of the dark. If the Scary Forest sounds a little too frightening, you can instead walk through the Cosy Forest. What to bring
Remember to bring a torch or headlamp. Warm clothing and sturdy footwear, such as wellington boots or hiking boots, are essential for a comfortable experience. You may also want to bring something to sit on.
Important information
All participants must take the shuttle bus from Sandnes city centre. Please check the event page on Saturday morning, the day of the event, for any updates. The road to Gramstad will be closed, and all participants must take the shuttle bus to the event. The shuttle buses will depart from Sandnes city centre. More information about the exact meeting point will be provided closer to the event.
Children
The recommended minimum age for the event is 4 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. Please label your child's reflective vest with their name and a parent's or guardian's phone number in case you become separated. Children who are found without an accompanying adult will be taken to the nearest event marshal wearing the red DNT T or to the Scouts' emergency team. They will accompany the child to the barn/STF house, where DNT volunteers will look after them.
Shuttle bus and child seats
All bus seats are fitted with three-point seat belts. The buses do not have permanently installed child seats, but participants may bring their own child seat or booster cushion if required. Child seats brought to the event can be stored in the basement of the white house at Gramstad during the event, at the owner's own risk. Children under the age of 3 must use their own child seat.
