Runners start at Oanes and ascend into the wilderness, across technical mountain paths, dense forest trails, exposed ridgelines and historic stone stairways. The route passes legendary landmarks including Preikestolen and Kjerag, offering breathtaking panoramic views – if your legs and lungs allow you to look up.
With a total ascent of around 2,500 metres, Lysefjorden Inn is not for the faint-hearted. This race demands endurance, determination and deep respect for the Norwegian wilderness. Weather conditions can change rapidly, increasing both the challenge and the excitement.
