In 2026, the stage is set for a double celebration of one of Norway’s most beloved artists. Maria Mena turns 40 and also marks 25 years as an artist. This is celebrated with an extensive tour that will take her throughout Norway.

Ever since she got a record deal in 2001 and broke through with “My Lullaby” in 2002, Maria Mena has given the audience a unique insight into her life and heart. Through nine critically acclaimed studio albums, including successes such as “Apparently Unaffected”, “Cause and Effect”, “Viktoria”, and “And Then Came You”, Mena has established herself as a songwriter and communicator in a class of her own.

Maria lives, writes and sings from the heart and is able to put thoughts and feelings into words. Even those that for many feel heavy to bear and impossible to share.
Her talent has resulted in an impressive hit parade that includes songs such as "I Don't Wanna See You With Her", "Just Hold Me", "You're The Only One", "All This Time", "It Took Me By Surprise", "You Live And You Learn", "Not OK" and the timeless classic "Home For Christmas".

As an artist, Mena is known for her deep honesty and vulnerability. Her courage and uncompromising approach to art, combined with her warm, empathetic and funny personality, makes the music experience both unfiltered and nuanced. After a break in 2025, the 2026 tour will be an opportunity to experience Maria Mena's unique communication skills live again, and a celebration of her long career and personal journey. The concerts will span her entire catalog, delivered with the intimacy and closeness that audiences love her for.

2026 will be a very eventful year for Maria. Among other things, she will tour with the renowned Amsterdam Sinfonietta with 13 concerts in the Netherlands in January and a live album will be recorded at the Oslo Concert Hall in February.

"I am more excited than I can express, the break in 2025 has made me even more aware of how lucky I am with my job, colleagues and audience! I am ready to deliver close, painful, hopeful and occasionally funny concerts again in 2026!"
