The Maridalen jazz trio will be performing at Festiviteten on Friday 16 October at 9.00 pm. The audience is invited to a concert featuring a distinctive and atmospheric sound.
A trio with a distinct sound
The band consists of Anders Hefre (saxophone and clarinet), Jonas Kilmork Vemøy (trumpet) and Andreas Rødland Haga (double bass). Together, they have developed a sound characterised by warmth, playfulness and openness.
Critically acclaimed jazz
Their debut album ‘Maridalen’ (2021) received widespread acclaim, including recognition as one of the year’s best Norwegian releases. The follow-up ‘Bortenfor’ (2022) and their third album ‘Gressholmen’ (2024) have also received excellent reviews.
International attention
The trio has toured several European countries and performed at a number of festivals. They have also been selected as a showcase artist at Jazzahead! 2025.
