Spellemann Prize winner Marie Løvås from Skodje opens the 2026 concert year at Løvenvold Theater!

In January, Marie Løvås will leave the long Christmas tour with the Oslo Gospel Choir behind her, and in 2026 the young singer from Skodje will be making new music.

Marie has had a busy year, after winning awards and receiving the Norsk Viseforum artist grant, and she has been promoted as a songwriter we believe in for the future.

With her beautiful songs, she has struck a nerve with her latest album "Alle mine svar blei om til såpebobleregn" - which received the Spellemann in the category Songs for 2024.

Norwegian newspapers have described Marie as part of "the absolute elite of Norwegian song pop artists", and the songs August and Siste trikk have been buzzing on all radio stations throughout 2025.

This is song music with roots in tradition, but which at the same time surprises with catchy choruses and poetic lyrics.
