Melis will be performing at Teatercafeen on Thursday 17 September at 9.00 pm. The audience can look forward to a concert featuring a modern pop sound and a strong stage presence.
From rising talent to established artist
Lise Mæland, known as Melis, began her career early, appearing on X Factor, working as a backing singer for Gabrielle and as a voice actress. In 2019, she took the plunge as a solo artist.
Critically acclaimed album and tour
In 2024, she released her second album, ‘Someone To Come Home To’, which received rave reviews and was followed by a tour of Norway, including a sold-out concert at Parkteatret in Oslo.
New EP and international collaboration
A collaboration with Stargate’s team in 2025 has resulted in the EP ‘Give It All’, mixed by Thomas Warren. The title track has been A-listed on NRK P3 and marks a new musical chapter.
Inspired by 80s pop
With “Give It All”, Melis presents a sound inspired by the 80s, featuring strong choruses, guitar solos and a clear theme of freedom and self-worth.
