In 2026, MindCrime will mark the 25th anniversary of its popular Christmas show. What began at Sevtun in 2001 has become a firm Christmas tradition for many. Over the years, the show has taken place at venues including Borgen, Bessede and Gutenberg, before being held at Ovenpaa for the past eight years.
A common feature throughout the years has been full houses, a festive atmosphere, plenty of laughter and surprises that haven’t always been planned.
An extra-special anniversary show
When MindCrime invites you to its 25th-anniversary celebrations, there’s plenty to look forward to. In addition to the traditional Christmas show, several former band members and others who have helped shape the band will be returning to join in the celebrations.
The audience can look forward to a whole evening of Father Christmases, presents, surprises, rock-style Christmas carols and classic heavy rock tracks. With plenty of sing-alongs and a relaxed atmosphere, everything is in place for an evening out of the ordinary.
The band can’t promise another 25 years of Christmas shows, but they do promise to make the anniversary a festive celebration of a tradition that has brought audiences together for decades.
Make sure you get into the Christmas spirit this year
Previous editions of MindCrime’s Christmas Show have been sold out. We therefore recommend that you save the date now, gather your friends and dig out your Santa hat. This will be an evening of rock, laughter and Christmas spirit at Ovenpaa.
