Grass is everywhere, at least in Jæren. It’s one of the most important plants we have… but what do we know about it – those of us who are neither farmers nor ruminants?
Author Siri Helle knows quite a lot. Among other things, she tells us that we can thank grass for almost half of our food, from halibut to milk and meat. But she also explains that grass is under threat from us and the climate change we’ve seen taking hold. Last year, Helle published *Grasboka*. In half an hour, she tells the grass’s vital story: how grass shapes our planet, how humans live with it, and why we can never manage without one another.
Please note that this event will be mainly in Norewgian.
