Since forming in Trondheim in 1989, Motorpsycho has evolved from an uncompromising power trio into one of Europe’s most respected and genre-crossing bands. With roots in noise rock and psychedelia as well as progressive jazz and classic pop, the band has created its own musical universe: Motorpsychodelia.
With classic albums such as Demon Box and Timothy’s Monster, they have won numerous Spellemann Awards and built a devoted international following. Motorpsycho is renowned for massive live performances where improvisation, energy and musical immersion take centre stage.
After more than 30 years on the road and over 30 album releases, the duo Bent Sæther and Hans Magnus “Snah” Ryan show no signs of slowing down. Most recently, in 2025, they delivered a new epic work that proves they remain in a creative league of their own.
