Tapas Music consists of two of Norway's most versatile musicians. In this concert production they take audiences on a musical journey in words and tones, from distant lands to familiar ground, from the grand and energetic to the quiet and intimate, and from classical virtuosity to lyric-driven Norwegian ballads.
Tapas Music offers a varied and flavourful musical feast, with musicality at a high level, vocal elegance, technical virtuosity, humour and warmth. The result is a production that both entertains, impresses and moves.
Singer and musician Jan-Tore Saltnes is best known from his 22 years as a member of the humorous musical trio Nordic Tenors. With the trio he has won Komiprisen, served as royal toastmaster for H.M. the King and been part of the opening of the Opera House in Bjørvika.
Diana Moisejenkaite is a prize-winning violinist who has toured both in Norway and internationally. She has played with among others KORK and Den Norske Opera, as well as artists such as Chris Holsten, Dagny and Morten Abel.
Here audiences can lean back and let tones, words and music fill the room. There will be both exercise for the laugh muscles and balm for the ears, in a concert production filled with humour, warmth and musical highlights.
