A performance about the right to be who you are.
"The worst oppression is the one invisible to the eye – the creeping, subtle oppression of low intensity that hides in the shadows, behind goodwill and kindness."
In the near future, the world economy collapses and chaos reigns. To restore order, a radical measure is introduced: a capsule that removes all physical and mental disabilities. People have six months to take it voluntarily – after that, drones release the cure in gas form. Today is the last day.
Everyone takes the capsules. Wheelchair users walk, the blind see, and the deaf hear. But for many deaf people, the capsule presents a dilemma: should they sacrifice their language and culture to fit into the new world?
At the final cultural festival, four young people flee the forced medication. They steal a truck but become stranded in a forest. Who are they? What binds them together? And will they manage to hide before the drones find them?
