OK, MEN SERIØST // Fredag 8. mai // Avd. Bar Bakke

"OK, but seriously" is a monologue event made by, with and for young people. On May 8th at Fabrikken Kulturscene there will be an art exhibition, monologue performance and after-dinner talk - a whole evening, to be exact. Everything revolves around monologues about what it's like to be young, the fear of war and how much you really just want to lie down on the ground and scroll a bit.

The monologues are written by local young people. On stage are actors from an advanced course in acting technique, and the authors behind the texts have been on an advanced course in monologue writing. The art is made by young people from Visual Arts at the cultural school. The advanced course is linked to Kulturmosaikk, a joint project between the cultural schools in Sunnmøre, Ålesund VGS, Volda VGS and Volda University College.

The performance takes place in Bar Bakke. Doors open at 5:30 PM, the performance starts at 6:00 p.m.
