PHANTOM FIRE
Heavy, beer and Satan. If you think these belong together like a perfect hand of cards, PHANTOM FIRE might just be your band. Childhood friends K.G. and Eld felt the need to create something that reflected the music they grew up with—the kind you’d bring to a party and play far louder than average, to everyone else’s annoyance. If you met someone who liked it, chances are you’d made a friend for life. Music to blast in the car while driving just a bit too fast.
PHANTOM FIRE still drives a little too fast, plays music a little too loud at parties, and goes to heavy metal shows.
This is not about credibility or fame, but a genuine desire to play rock ’n’ roll the way they believe it should be—blackened around the edges, uncompromising and dirty.
This autumn they entered the studio to record their third album with producer and drummer Ivar Sandøy. Ten tracks were completed and recorded live in the studio. The sound and expression are as authentically PHANTOM FIRE as it gets. Screaming guitars, rumbling bass, pounding drums and snarling vocals.
MORAX (bio)
MORAX is a one-man heavy metal band from Fusa, founded in 2023 by Remi A. Nygård. The music is rooted in the darker side of the genre, drawing inspiration from bands such as Mercyful Fate, Satan and Black Sabbath.
The debut album The Amulet was released on 21 February 2025, including a release on High Roller Records. With The Amulet, MORAX dives deep into the many facets of heavy metal, delivering 40 minutes of devilish heavy in all shapes and forms. The album has received strong reviews both in Norway and internationally, establishing MORAX as a new and exciting force in heavy metal.
