The programme features piano works by composers including Bach, Mozart and Chopin.
Magnus Blom studied piano performance and piano pedagogy at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, before completing advanced studies as an opera répétiteur at the University College of Opera in the same city. He moved to Norway in 2003 and worked as a regional musician, piano and ensemble teacher, and accompanist at Stord School of Music and Performing Arts until June 2023. He currently serves as a church musician in Meland, just outside Bergen.
Magnus has extensive experience as an accompanist, chamber musician and solo pianist, with performances throughout Sweden, Norway, Finland, England and Wales. He is also a highly sought-after répétiteur and regularly collaborates with organisations including Collegium Musicum, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Bergen National Opera.
