The story of Pinocchio has delighted generations in books, films and theatre. Now Teatret Vårt brings one of the world's most famous fairy tales to the stage in a brand new version. In the unique meeting between sand animation and actors, a magical world is conjured up. Together with the wooden puppet, the fairy tale of Pinocchio comes to life.

Gepetto wants a child more than anything else. One day his wish comes true when a fairy brings one of his puppets to life. Pinocchio is unruly, curious and full of his own ideas. When an argument goes too far, he runs away from home. Thus begins a great adventure. When they finally meet again, Pinocchio is faced with the biggest choice of all.

In Teatret Vårt's interpretation of the classic story, everything is created before your eyes. Two actors share the stage with sand artists Olga Kryzhanovska and Svitlana Danilchenko, who enchanted the audience in Norwegian Talents. With sand and light, they conjure up Pinocchio's world. The face grows, the sea swells, the landscape changes – and in a split second everything can be turned upside down.
