Choreographer and dancer Irene Ingebretsen shares the stage with her grandmother, Berit Myhra, while her brother Erik Ingebretsen provides the music, composed and performed live.
The performance grew out of a period marked by grief and personal crises within the family, and explores how community, closeness and love can carry people through the most difficult moments. Through an expression in which dance and music breathe together, a poetic space for memories emerges – where both the joyful and the painful are allowed to exist side by side.
Me and Grandma is a performance that touches audiences across generations – a celebration of relationships, time and togetherness.
