In the research project WIMBY, we investigate wind power development in Europe and the perceptions of its impacts among different groups in society.
The Haugesund region is one of four regions where we want to discuss the opportunities, challenges and impacts of wind energy expansion at a regional level, in order to develop potential visions for this form of renewable energy.
The workshops are designed as "serious games" where you can contribute your opinions and knowledge and participate in discussions with other participants. With interactive 3D visualizations and virtual reality (VR), you can experience and evaluate the impacts of wind turbines.
