Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the Vinterlys concert at the cultural centre, featuring Rita Eriksen and Dag Vagle. This concert has become a much-loved annual pre-Christmas tradition for many, and this year marks eight years since the very first Vinterlys concert was held at the venue.
Together with some of the finest musicians in the country, Rita Eriksen and Dag Vagle create a warm and atmospheric musical experience – a concert that truly puts the audience in the festive spirit.
There is room for both stillness and powerful emotions. Their voices seem to merge into something greater, whether in the intimate, delicate passages or in those moments when they reveal their exceptional power and strength. Their musical chemistry is unique, giving the concert a deeply personal and emotional quality.
Rita and Dag choose songs that bring peace, reflection and warmth to the soul – perfect for this beautiful, chilly winter season. Once again, they are joined by the choir Kornelius, whose contribution adds another dimension to the performance.
