Rotlaus is a folk rock band from Ørsta in Sunnmøre, started in 2015 by frontman Bjørn Marius Øyehaug. With roots in the village and their heart on the outside of their shirt, Rotlaus has become one of the country's most popular live bands. Their energetic mix of rock, pop and folk music, combined with honest lyrics in dialect, has struck a chord with audiences all over the country. Songs like "Byjenta", "Kvilelaus" and "Rundt neste sving" have earned the band both gold and platinum trophies, and their concerts are known for their enormous energy, sing-alongs and genuine party atmosphere. When Rotlaus takes the Terminalen Byscene on February 13, the audience can expect a show filled with raw joy of playing, great stories and genuine music from a band that has made the rural scene a national phenomenon.
