An evening about following dreams, letting go of perfectionism, setting ambitious goals, and sometimes actually reaching them.
I have been an artist for 25 years. It has taken me to many places: from the adventure with Kaizers Orchestra and a unique connection with the audience, to theatre and film with The Mute, and further to life as a solo artist, with more responsibility, more vulnerability, and more questions to myself.
None of this has come easily, and never alone. Behind every project lies years of work and close collaboration. I have learned that 90 per cent of the job is preparation and planning. The concert, the song, or the album lasts only a moment – it is the journey that counts. That is where the best stories happen.
This evening I will give you an insight into my experience of being an artist, which may not be so different from being human. It is largely about contrasts: being fully yourself, but always in relation to others. About self-confidence, but also trust in others. About facing tough challenges, embracing change, or moving forward in acceptance – without giving up. We are all on an endless journey.

Usually we meet Janove on stage during concerts, where he shares stories between songs. This time, the format is turned on its head: he will primarily share experiences from the ups and downs of 25 years as an artist. And yes – rumours say there will also be a few musical performances between the stories.
Special guest: EDEL
EDEL is a soul duo from Stavanger, consisting of Vera and Malin. They deliver strong vocal harmonies and intense interplay, both as an acoustic duo and with a full band. In 2025, they have toured Norway, released their debut album SAMBUCUS, and dropped the TikTok hit Nakenbading with Daniel Obede. The press describes them as “too good for small stages,” and reviewers give them top marks. More about EDEL.
