Silo & Saft are a band from Varhaug who play Jæren-style folk rock. The band started out small in 1999, releasing the maxi single Fyssteslåtten. In 2001, the full band was established, and their first LP, Aenslåtten, followed in due course. Their albums are Fyssteslåtten, Aenslåtten, Langs 44, VSOP and Samleslåtten.
The band has amassed impressive streaming figures on Spotify, and their music has become part of everyday life across Jæren and the surrounding area. Their songs continue to reach new generations and are at least as popular today as they were 20 years ago. Their best-known tracks include Langs 44, Skjævelandsbrunå, Traktor, Aenslåtten and Samdrift. A Silo & Saft gig always guarantees a fantastic atmosphere!
