Snowing on my Piano

Put away your credit cards and wrapping paper - Bugge Wesseltoft is finally back with his stress-relieving Christmas music.

"Snowing on my piano" was made out of a desire for peace and quiet during Christmas, and a break from stress, gift-giving hysteria and having to be so incredibly happy all the time. Since its release in 1997, it has become one of the great, classic Norwegian Christmas albums.

Bugge Wesseltoft himself has said the following about the recording:

"As a young man, I worked in an emergency room at a psychiatric hospital and it was a shock for me to discover that Christmas is also a holiday for depression, loneliness and domestic violence. When a German record company asked me to make a solo piano album with Christmas songs, I had strong doubts, but in the end I chose to record it on the condition that I could do it in my own way. Loving each other and having time for each other is the most important thing we can do during Christmas."
