On Sunday 1 November, Duo Apropos invites you to a concert exploring the convergence of classical music, jazz, cabaret and the artistic avant-garde in 1920s Paris.
Musical encounters and new forms of expression
The programme consists of short, distinctive works by Georges Auric, Darius Milhaud and Erik Satie. The composers drew inspiration from everyday life, popular culture and the cabaret scene, giving the music a lively and distinctive character.
An intimate concert experience
In an intimate setting, Duo Apropos presents a repertoire rarely performed in Norway. Throughout the concert, the audience will be given brief introductions offering insight into the music and the era in which it was created.
For both new and experienced listeners
The concert is suitable for anyone curious about classical music, whether you are seeking a first introduction to the genre or looking for new musical experiences beyond the traditional repertoire.
