Steinar Raknes and Unni Wilhelmsen are two of Norway’s most distinctive artists. As the Stillhouse Duo, they present a concert where Americana meets Norwegian expression, featuring strong melodies, improvisation and an interplay characterised by energy and intimacy.
A unique musical expression
Raknes creates an impressive soundscape with double bass, looping and effects, whilst Wilhelmsen’s distinctive voice and guitar lend the concert warmth and dynamism. The repertoire consists of Raknes’ own songs from the Stillhouse series, as well as personal interpretations of artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Depeche Mode.
