Summer party at På Kaien – 14 and 15 August!
Two days of music, a great atmosphere and a real festival vibe on the quay! We’re kicking things off with a full-blooded country night on Friday – and carrying the party on into Saturday.
Friday 14 August – Country Night!
Boots on, hat at a jaunty angle – on Friday we’re transforming På Kaien into a proper Western saloon! We’ve brought together a line-up of fantastic artists who deliver country music just as it should be: powerful stories, warm melodies and music that strikes right at the heart.
Tonight’s artists:
- Albert Aanensen – Stories that resonate. Music that stays with you. With decades of experience and roots in the classic country tradition, Albert puts the stories centre stage.
- Thomas Aanensen – Country just as it should be. Inspired by Garth Brooks, Vince Gill and Hank Williams, he invites you into a world of authentic country.
- Sarah Aanensen – Sensitive delivery, powerful moments. A warm voice that sings from the heart.
- Hilde Iren Borge – An award-nominated country artist with a genuine stage presence. Recently nominated for the Texas Awards, and with tours alongside Nashville artists under her belt.
- Rebekka Aanensen – Known from *The Voice*, and currently in the spotlight with new music. A voice and charisma that leave a lasting impression.
Line dancing!
We’ll be joined by a line-dancing group who’ll show you the steps and bring a real Western atmosphere to the dance floor. Don’t be shy – join in! They’ll be happy to show you the moves, and here it’s the atmosphere that counts, not perfection.
Put on your cowboy hat!
Turn up in western style and take part in choosing the evening’s best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl! Throughout the evening, we’ll select three finalists from each category, and towards the end of the concert we’ll crown one winner from the men and one from the women – right in front of the stage. Perhaps you’ll be the one riding home with the prize?
