Susanne Sundfør announces tour with elements of bluegrass and country

This fall, Susanne Sundfør invites the audience into a new musical landscape. With songs from her entire career, dressed up for the occasion in tones of bluegrass and country, she embarks on an extensive fall tour together with some of the country's leading musicians.

- I'm looking forward to sharing the stage with some of Norway's best musicians this summer and fall, where we will dress my music in a new country costume. It will be good old-fashioned bluegrass, but also elements of country, well inspired by the icons Dolly Parton and Alison Krauss, says Sundfør.

For more than two decades, Susanne Sundfør has cemented her position as one of Norway's most recognized and artistically uncompromising artists. Her career has been characterized by a rare willingness to challenge her own expression, explore new musical directions and constantly find new ways into her own song universe.

On this tour, the audience will experience just that. Well-known and beloved songs are given new life through new harmonies, acoustic strings and a musical kinship with the American folk and country tradition. For Sundfør's many fans, this will be a unique opportunity to rediscover the songs from an artist who still refuses to stand still.
