Warm welcome to the lecture "The Kitchen Garden as an Ecosystem – Microorganisms in the Soil, Sustainable Growing, and Preparedness" with Ingeborg Olimstad Mørner from Østebø Blomstergård. The lecture is organised by Bergsagel Garden Club, Oltedal Garden Club, and Ålgård Garden Club.
Ingeborg, at the smallholding Østebø Blomstergård, not only loves flowers but is also passionate about increasing self-sufficiency in your own garden.
She will share tips on creating a healthy microclimate in the soil, allowing you to grow both vegetables and flowers over many seasons without having to replace or buy new soil each year.
She is also deeply interested in what we can grow and how to preserve produce so it can be enjoyed until the next season. A recipe booklet will be distributed.
There will be coffee, tea, and cakes for sale, as well as a raffle with fantastic prizes.
