ess than a month after the 22 July terror attacks, Rebekka is about to start upper secondary school. She didn't know any of those who were killed, and she tells herself it's time to get back to normal. She throws herself into the school revue, develops a crush on Daniel with the curly hair, and tries to focus on friends, parties and everyday life. But there's one problem: she can't stop thinking about what happened.
Missed Call is about searching for meaning in the face of the senseless. It explores how difficult it can be to truly reach one another – and how important it is when we finally do. At its heart, it is also a story about enduring friendship and the possibility of finding a way forward.
Fifteen years after the 22 July attacks, the Norwegian National Touring Theatre brings Nora Dåsnes' award-winning graphic novel to the stage. The production aims to offer young people hope while helping them make sense of their own fears in an increasingly uncertain world.
The leading role of Rebekka is played by Maja Christensen, known from the hit NRK youth drama Rådebank. She is joined by Amina Mohamud, Jawad Aziz, Arjan Nilsen and Christina Sleipnes.
