The Sickening / Support: The Vomitizer // Kulturfabrikken

The band has been going for over 20 years since its inception in 2003, and has not deviated from the uncompromising style of music they set out to do at the beginning. It is brutal and straight-forward death metal with a lot of energy that is shared with the audience every time the band takes the stage.

First on stage is the Trondheim band Vomitizer, who delivers raw and dirty old-school death metal. Inspiration is drawn from bands such as Obituary, Necrophagia and Autopsy, while also adding a good dose of their own sound to the death metal pot. Vomitizer released the concept album "Release the Rats" in 2025 through the German record label Undercover Records, and has in this regard garnered a solid dose of good reviews from the metal underground zines. Vomitizer has already proven itself as a hard-kicking live band through festivals such as Legend Metalfest and Winter Nekropolis, where they have shared the stage with bands such as Lik, Inculter and Gaahl's Wyrd.
Vomitizer was started in 2023 by Øyvind Rekdal (Chton, ex-Cleaver), and with him on the recording of the
album he has had members of, among others, Ghetto Ghouls, Corroder and Goat the Head.
