Christmas is the darkest time of the year. Perhaps that is why so many candles are lit?
Welcome to a pre-Christmas concert with Thomas Tvedt – an evening of well-known Christmas carols, familiar songs and newly written music. Expect plenty of humour and a heartfelt desire to bring light into the darkness.
For Christmas can be a dark time. For some, it is filled with warmth, security, family and friends. For others, it is marked by loneliness, silence and the absence of anyone calling or reaching out a hand. And even in the middle of a crowd, darkness and emptiness can still feel close.
Everyone is welcome at this concert.
A blind artist lights the way – no one knows darkness better.
Thomas Tvedt puts it this way:
“I don't know what your December is like. But I know that music does something to the darkness.”
Welcome to a concert filled with music, humour, warmth and hope – bringing light into the darkness.
