Torstein Flakne og Claudia Scott

It's been 4 years since they last went on the road, and we've had a lot of demand to get them back on tour.

The first time Torstein Flakne and Claudia Scott stood on stage together was during the Norwegian final of Melodi Grand Prix in 1986. With the song 'Rock'n'Roll Band', written by Claudia and Torstein, they served up perhaps Melodi Grand Prix's rockiest entry ever.

The venue was Stavanger, Claudia was the artist, the backing band was Torstein's Stage Dolls supplemented by Ronni Le Tekrø and Bård Svendsen. It was a 3-minute wild party where there were broken guitars and pyrobombs left on the stage afterwards. - Maybe it was just as well we didn't win, then it would have been moonlight, laughs Claudia.

Since then, these two gradually meritorious artists have become two of our most beloved by the people.

Torstein Flakne, the driving force behind The Kids and Stage Dolls. The list of famous songs he has been behind and involved in is endless. He is also inducted into the Rockheim Hall of Fame along with the rest of the Stage Dolls.

Recently, he filled both Tapperiet and Olavshallen in Trondheim together with long-time colleague and artist Dag Ingebrigtsen.

Claudia Scott, one of our most important artists in country rock and Americana, a role model for a number of the country's younger artists in the genre. She has also taken 3 Spellemann prizes, 3 Fjordings prizes, 3 SESAC prizes (USA), the Gammleng Ærespris with her on the journey, in addition to a number of solo albums for an increasingly loyal audience.

These two have now put their guitars and voices together and you can experience them in an acoustic setting where they perform their well-known songs mixed with good stories from the road.

"We have listened to each other's songs, made suggestions here and there, and the result has been incredibly good. We are looking forward like little kids to performing them for our audience.

"In addition, we are very happy to reminisce a little, tell funny stories and anecdotes from an increasingly eventful life as artists. Æ glær mæ, chuckles Torstein."

And "we are glad" too, this will be a pleasure to experience. Now see them on stage together again!
