Trubadurfestivalen in Hommersåk brings together Norwegian and international artists and songwriters for intimate live performances close to the audience. The focus is on the songs, the stories and the performers – without large bands or elaborate stage productions. The festival format dates back more than 20 years and has previously been staged in several Norwegian cities, with more than 260 concerts. Now the concept comes to Hommersåk, where small venues and limited audience capacities create a close connection between performers and audiences.
The festival also collaborates with Nashville Nights, bringing songwriters and musicians from Nashville's music scene to Hommersåk. It is an opportunity to discover the people and stories behind the songs, performed in a stripped-back setting where songwriting and storytelling take centre stage.
Trubadurfestivalen takes place from 3 to 6 June 2027 as part of Riskadagene in Hommersåk. The programme and artists will be announced by the organisers.
