Vanja V is a 26-year-old artist from Valestrand on Osterøy. In 2014 she sang her way all the way to the Superfinal in MGPjr with the song «Du Stod Der Og Lo». After this musical experiences came thick and fast, and she released an EP with EDM music in the Norwegian West Coast dialect which earned her Ukas Urørt on NRK P3. This led on to Slottsfjellfestivalen in Tønsberg and Rock Mot Rus on Andøya.
Then the journey continued to the elite school LIMPI in Lillehammer, where she worked with producers and songwriters from all over the world. When the pandemic raged, she was lucky enough to travel to San Marino to participate in the semi-final during the Eurovision selection there. She has also travelled to Japan, Belgium and the Netherlands to write music for herself and others, together with acclaimed producers from all over the world.
Those who watched the last season of The Voice on TV2 could see 3 out of 4 mentors press the red button when Vanja performed her version of Benson Boone's «In The Stars».
On 14 November 2026 she takes the stage at Kongshall at home in Valestrand, together with her touring band.
