What happens when we use the mindset of weaving?
Can we see new connections and create other ways of living with our biotic neighbours? What happens when we weave accross time, space,
knowledge, culture and landscape? Can we then create a new symbiosis, an eco system rich on plant and animal species.
Today, living in the cities, we grow more and more distant to our surroundings. We have
therefore tried to rethink what our everyday life could look like by learning with old ways of
living, tools and traditions. By collecting knowledge from our stay at Havråtunet, Stamnes
and Osterøy museum, we have gotten a window into the past. Now we want to bring this knowledge into Bergen city-life.
What if you could pick herbs on your way home from work? Or eat a fresh apple from your street when you need a snack? What if you could actually get to know your neighbours, big and small. These are the things we have begun to
explore in this course.
