Making your own tiered platter is a simple and fun project that is suitable for everyone. With a few basic materials, you can create a personal and beautiful tiered platter. Choose plates in different sizes and patterns for a unique look, and drill holes in them to mount the stand. The museum provides the tools and materials you need. You can bring your own platters, but it is also possible to buy reusable platters from the museum. Let your creativity flow! Tiered platters are a perfect gift, or as a decoration for confirmations and other big occasions.
About the workshop
Our workshops are arranged several times a year at Osterøy Museum. At the workshop, there will be chill vibes and the opportunity to meet new people. The workshops requires no prior knowledge, begins with an introduction and there will be guidance along the way.
The workshop is suitable for everyone and is free for young people under 18 years of age.
The workshop begins at 6:00 PM, but it is possible to come for dinner before the workshop at 5:00 PM. Dinner consists of soup w/bread and coffee/tea. After dinner you can look around our exhibitions.
Price workshop adults: 350 NOK (includes entrance fee, tools and materials for one dish. If you want to make another, it costs 200 NOK extra)
Price workshop under 18: free
Price for dinner is 180 NOK.
