There has been farming on Ytre Eiane, on the north side of Jøsenfjorden, since the 16th century. The farm has been in the same family for ten generations, and the south-facing slopes are ideal for fruit growing.
Today the main house from 1870, with sloping floors and a lot of history, is used as Bed & Breakfast.
The house has 4 private rooms for 1 to 3 guests and a separate apartment for 4 people. The common area consists of living rooms, dining area and a large garden with a beautiful view of the fjord.
Homemade breakfast with local quality products is included in the price, and you can order a packed lunch. You have access to a refrigerator and barbeque.
In the large garden there is a lot of apple and plum trees, and in the farm shop you can buy apple juice, apple cider and honey produced on the farm. Enjoy the award-winning products while you breathe in the fresh fjord breeze.
There are many great hiking opportunities in the area, and you can swim in the fjord, rent SUP boards and go fishing.
Eiane Gard is 1.5 hours by car from Stavanger, and it is a short distance to Preikestolen and Trolltunga.
