Fjord Skiing at Sunnmøre

Based out of the Sagafjord Hotel and the Patchell hut, this 4 days, ski touring trip, will bring you on some of  the classic summits in the Sunnmøre alps. Four days isn't quite enough for you? You can add days to this trip and customize it to your liking. On this Fjord skiing trip we have put together some of the best parts for a magic long weekend of skiing. 

The Sunnmøre alps are famous for their alpine and jagged peaks combined with incredible fjord scenery. These mountains average at around 1,500 meters and, when the conditions are right, one can ski from the summits all the way down to the fjord. Add some positive vibes, classic peaks like Slogen, Skårasalen or Grøtdalstinden and all the ingredients for a perfect ski touring trip are there!

Hjørundfjorden is still a bit of a hidden gem and we should get a lot terrain to ourselves during this trip. A normal ski day will be around 1000 vertical meters and around 8 hours long.
