Route Options:
- Start from Ulvik centre and walk the full 6 km one-way.
- You can cycle or drive part of the way up to reduce the distance and climb (limited parking available).
- From the end of the gravel road, follow a marked circular trail via a forest path and tractor road.
Getting There:
- From Vallavikvegen (road 572), turn off shortly after the bridge over Vambheimselva.
- Follow signs for Frystetjødn up Vambheimsvegen.
- After passing Lisebrekke, take a sharp left and follow the gravel road to the parking. Driving further up the tractor road is not permitted.

Total ascent: 230 meters (from the forest road), 500 meters (from Ulvik).
Total walking time: 2 hours (from the forest road), 5 hours (from Ulvik center).
