You can catch your gourmet dinner, fresh from the sea, straight into the saucepan from the boat or quayside. Go for a walk in the surrounding mountains, or visit sheeps in the archipelago.
Can you dive? If so, you can hunt wolf fish in the seaweed. Boats with outboard engine ( 15 feet / 9,9 or 15 hp) or a rowing boat.
If you are celebrating an event, we have conference/ party facilities for small or large groups( 20 – 80 people).
You can organise your own food for the event, or you can order catering.
We are situated 5 minutes from Kalvåg, with shop, restaurant an many other good services/ facilities.

Well-marked walking routes in the surrounding area, you choose which type of walk that suits you.
On a lovely summer’s day, we would recommend you take a trip to Grotlesanden.
Apartments
We offer 5 well-equipped apartments with copacity to accommodate 2-6 people.
All the apartments have a kitchen area with a fridge/ freezer, washing machine and cooker. Every apartment has their own bathroom with shower and double sofa bed in all the living rooms. Well sound insulated between the apartments

Smørhamn Trade Centre
History through 400 years Smørhamn is rich in history. King Kristian V was here in 1685. King Fredrik IV and his followers slept here in 1704. King Christian VI was her in 1733, together with queen Sophia Magdalena. Fishery, cargo boats, alcohol trade and a courthouse are just some of the history through these times. In old times, as well as now there were questhouse in Smørhamn. Here there was space for both kings and common people. You are certainly in good company whwn you visit Smørhamn! Smørhamn is surrounded by countryside. King Fredrik IV wrote in his diary «the lambs are grazing on the roof». Today you will see the lambs grazing close by. Active holidays in peacefull surroundings.
