It gives inner peace to sit out on the veranda and look out over the mountains, the sky and the nature that surrounds us, while you listen to the sounds from the waterfalls. The sunset is approximately at 23 o’clock at midsummer, and you can see the sunset from the cabins.
The animals on the farm
The cottage yard is located right by the farm yard, and we have goats, miniature pigs, rabbits, ducks, chickens, cats and a dog you can meet. You can also visit inside the fence and greet the animals, give them food and hear more about them. And maybe you will find some eggs too?
On each side of the valley there are two large mountain areas. Here you will find a big variety of short and long trips i.e. waterfall walks, forest trips, old farms, trips in the mountains. There is something for everyone. The area has old roads past the farm, blasting caves from World War II, potholes, swimming holes, waterfalls and wild rapids. Feel free to ask the hosts to hear more about cultural history - they are happy to strike up a conversation.
The children should have a good time with us and we are happy to lend out board games and lego. In the cabins there are cartoon magazines and we have outdoor toys.
