American concept in a Norwegian context
'"FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar" started up in Minnesota. With restaurants both in Minneapolis and Leeds, it has now come to Stavanger. The restaurant is divided into different areas and fits perfectly for both big and small events. With the American barbecue culture as their starting point, FireLake seeks to combine this with Norwegian food methods, and local and organic ingredients.
90 % Norwegian food
90 per cent of the ingredients are from local, Norwegian farms, however, they also use exclusive products from abroad, such as the Wagyu steak from Japan. On the menu is also fresh seafood, and the fish of the day varies from halibut to different types of shark. The meat is not simply of high quality, it is just as important that the barbecues and salt mixtures give a unique amount of seasoning and a smoky taste to it. It also helps to have talented chefs on board the kitchen team!
