The cabin Målsethytta is run by the hiking association in Vik, has got space for 18 persons (main cabin + spare cabin) and is situated at the lake Målsetvatnet at 875 m asl. You can drive all the way to the cabin by car, or you can get off the bus and walk 1,5 km to the cabin. The cabin can be opened with a DNT standard key. Målsetvatnet is excellent for fishing, but remember to buy a fishing licence. The road to the cabin is not cleared in winter. From end of October to the beginning of June (depending on snow conditions) the cabin can only be reached by ski.
