Experience the Jæren beaches at Sirevåg Konferansehotell which offers venues for conferences, meetings, private gatherings, birthdays, weddings and Christmas parties. The hotel has nine double rooms and eight single rooms, in addition, they have two family apartments with kitchen/living areas and three bedrooms with a total of seven beds in each apartment.
The ocean-view restaurant seats 80 people. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. All from their own kitchen, with local products prepared by the in-house chef.
The conference venue is bright and comfortable with a maritime interior, and views of the ocean and the harbour. All meeting rooms have modern technical equipment. The largest meeting venue seats 35 people.
Adventures
Merely 10 minutes walking distance from the conference centre, is the beach Ognasanden. It is a picturesque area and the beach perfectly frames the bay, Ognabukta. The Ognaelva river, which flows out at the north end of the beach, is known as one of Norway's best salmon rivers.
Within 10 minutes' walking distance from the conference centre is the mountain Vedafjellet with its war memorials. An adventure with a command tower, cannon positions, tunnels and enormous views around the compass. A sea of experiences for those who are interested and have the opportunity.
Bar
Tonny Bar is fully licensed. They show English Premier League football every Saturday from 4 p.m. Kapteinens Bar is fully licensed and has a nice lounge area.
History
The first part of the construction of Sirevåg Konferansehotell was finished in 1995. After four build developments, the centre has 40 beds, a conference venue, a restaurant with 80 seatings, two bars and its own harbour facility.
The hotel location is at southern Jæren at the Sirevåg harbour, where the unique geology starts showing with mountain boulders and cliffs. It is a one-hour drive from Stavanger International Airport, Sola.
