About the exhibition:
"Stille klang av samspel" shows an exploration of what threads and windings are created together when spring meets spinning of different local wool.
Vigdis Valde (b. 1971) is a teacher, educator and craftsperson. She has worked with local wool in variable qualities from the older sheep breeds since the beginning of the 2000s. It has developed into a central part of the craft and artistry. She spins threads and explores the closely woven and finely tuned interaction in nature; the landscape and the materials, as a larger "us".
